Car thief to be dealt with by the authorities

A 25-year-old man of no fixed address who was arrested in a stolen BMW 530 has been handed to Home Office Immigration Enforcement officers for the purpose of immediate deportation.  

Kent Police received a report around 12.30am on Thursday 8 February 2018 that the BMW had been stolen from outside an address in Loose, Maidstone.

Stolen car spotted


Patrols were deployed and officers found the vehicle travelling up Bluebell Hill towards the M2.

Stinger 


Officers placed a stinger at the roundabout prior to the motorway and the car was successfully brought to a halt. The driver, a foreign national, was arrested on suspicion of theft at 1.10am.
