Drug related arrest in Tonbridge

Police officers have arrested a teenager in Tonbridge in connection with drug supply.

Officers in plain clothes were patrolling Trench Road at around 4.20pm on Tuesday 6 February when they approached two people who were seen acting suspiciously. Both ran away from the officers and one of them, a 17-year-old boy from Tunbridge Wells, was stopped nearby.

The teenager was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply and the officers seized a quantity of cannabis and a mobile phone.

He was subsequently released under investigation.
