Investigation is under way following Hawkinge robbery

Kent Police officers are investigating a robbery in Hawkinge.

It was reported that at around 7am on Tuesday 6 February 2018 a man walked into a pharmacy in Defiant Close holding a knife, threatened a member of staff and demanded cash.

There were no reported injuries but money was taken.


The suspect was described as a white man, 5ft 7in and of large build. He was seen wearing gloves, a dark woolly hat and dark glasses, possibly with a white frame. He was also seen wearing a black patterned bandana across his face.

Officers carrying out enquiries would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, who may have witnessed the incident or who has information important to the investigation.
