Teenagers to appear in court charged with assault and criminal damage
Four teenagers have been charged following reports of anti-social behaviour in Herne Bay.
Two 14-year-old girls and a 15-year-old girl from Herne Bay and a boy, aged 14, from Canterbury have been charged with 30 offences between them. These include theft, assault, criminal damage, possession of an offensive weapon, burglary and several racially aggravated offences that were committed between November 2017 and January 2018.
The charges relate to a number of thefts and disturbances across various locations including a wine shop, restaurant, supermarket and petrol station in the High Street.
The teenagers were charged on Tuesday 6 February 2018 and have been released on bail to appear at Canterbury Youth Court on Monday 26 February 2018.
