Two men arrested in Maidstone in connection with drug supply

Police officers have arrested two men in Maidstone in connection with the supply of controlled drugs.

Plain clothes officers were in the Lockmeadow complex, Barker Road at around 2.30pm on Thursday 8 February 2018 when they saw the two men acting suspiciously.

Drug search


The officers spoke to the two local men, aged 34 and 62, and then brought them  to Maidstone police station for the purposes of a drug search.

The 34-year-old man was subsequently arrested at around 3pm on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug and the 62-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs.

Drugs and cash seized


A quantity of cash and drugs believed to be heroin was seized, and the men were later released under investigation.
