Suspected cannabis found in pickled cucumber jars

Suspected cannabis found in pickled cucumber jars
Pickled cucumber jars containing what is believed to be cannabis prompted Kent Police officers to arrest two men.

The two jars were uncovered after officers stopped a van in the Watling Street, Dartford, area on Wednesday 7 November 2018.

A variety of vehicle parts, that are suspected to have been stolen, were found in the van.

A nearby storage unit was also searched and the suspected class B drug was subsequently uncovered.

The arrested men are a 25-year-old man from Dagenham and a 32-year-old man from Thamesmead.

They were arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and possessing cannabis and have been released, pending further enquiries.
