This site is a beta, which means it's a work in progress and we'll be adding more to it over the next few weeks. Your feedback helps us make things better, so please let us know what you think.
If you have already instructed a solicitor to represent you, we recommend you make contact with them to discuss your case prior to your hearing.
The court is unlikely to grant an adjournment (delay the court hearing by setting a new date or time) to allow you to speak with your solicitor or to wait for legal aid to be granted before requiring you to enter a plea so you should deal with this before your first hearing.
If you have not appointed a solicitor to represent you we strongly recommend you do.
