New members
We are looking for new members to work with us to support the communities and businesses of Kent. You can get involved as much as you like and have time for.
We are all volunteers and are passionate about working with Kent Police to make sure it is the best it can be.
IAG members:
- give advice on policy (including policy development) and practices which impact on diverse communities
- provide a view on how police activities are likely to be perceived by communities, for example 'stop and search'
- give a personal perspective as a person who is connected to a particular community. IAG members do not speak on behalf of the community
- advise the police on cultural and other issues
- give post incident advice in regard to critical incidents, noting how the incident advice may differ in different communities and cultures

Become a member of IAG
Anyone can join their district IAG but we are particularly looking for volunteers to join the Sevenoaks district IAG.
