The Community Safety Units (CSUs) deal with local crime and safety issues and have an important role in community policing. They aim to create a safe environment for you by reducing crime and anti-social behaviour.
Officers in the CSUs work alongside staff from other agencies including district councils.
You also have a Local District Policing Team. This is a group of officers who:
The North Division policing area covers the Dartford, Gravesham, Medway and Swale districts.
The Divisional Commander is Chief Superintendent Angie Chapman.
Local Policing is also supported by Superintendent Nick Sparkes and Detective Superintendent Richard Woolley.

The East Division policing area covers the Ashford, Folkestone, Hythe, Canterbury, Dover and Thanet.
