Our staff support group networks are crucial in providing a forum for networking opportunities and peer support between staff. They also enable us, as an employer, to engage directly with the needs of all staff – providing a critical friend where needed. With this engagement we can recognise which policies may impact on diverse communities and staff, what changes can be made to improve staff experiences, and help build trust and confidence for all.
We're committed to making sure equality and diversity underpins our organisation and we help our staff by providing our staff support groups:
Support networks for veterans, serving personnel & their families
Provide support for those who have a disability
Members are welcomed from a Gypsy, Roma or Traveller background
Recreational association open to all officers and staff
For all staff regardless of their sexual orientation/gender
Raise awareness and understanding of issues affecting women
Providing support to those working more flexibly
Seeks to develop awareness of male concerns and issues
Provide support and advice to ethnic minority staff members
There are also other external support groups which are available to help advise and support you whenever you need their help:
