Starting salary is £29,634 with annual increments up to a maximum £34,359.

You will be comprehensively supported during your training and development, this will include the completion of a development portfolio which demonstrates your competency as a PCSO.
Your training will start with an eight-week course at Kent Police College in Maidstone, followed by a further six-week tutorship at the police station where you will be based. During this time, you will not be able to take any annual leave for the full fourteen weeks of the training period.
Before you go out on patrol on your own you will spend some time with officers who will also support you, offering advice and guidance during the transition between the classroom and the workplace.
