This site is a beta, which means it's a work in progress and we'll be adding more to it over the next few weeks. Your feedback helps us make things better, so please let us know what you think.
To be able to apply to become a police officer you must have already been awarded a qualification equivalent to 2 A-levels or higher.
If you have a qualification which is not listed below you can check whether or not it's equivalent to 2 or more A-levels with the European Network of Information Centres (ENIC), or the Register of regulated qualifications.
If you think your qualification is nationally recognised please submit it along with the website address and any other research you've carried out to the recruitment team.
If you are currently studying at A-level or equivalent level 3 then you are welcome to begin your Kent Police application. You can undertake our assessment stages and begin pre-employment checks. Please be aware that as part of the pre-employment checks we will need to see your completed certificates, but we can temporarily hold your application at this stage if you have not yet received them.
Make sure you've read about our recruitment process before starting your application.
