Do you live by or frequently visit Kent’s coastal areas? You could help us in monitoring our county’s historic coastline as a coastal community policing volunteer.
Coastal community policing volunteers provide a visible presence patrolling in small groups in key areas of the Kent coastline.
Attached to our Community Safety Unit or Rural Task Force, you will be fully trained, semi-uniformed and with legal powers at your disposal. You will deal with coastal issues you come across and perform a vital function in reporting information and intelligence to us in relation to:
This role has no minimum hour’s contribution so you can volunteer as much or as little time as you like. There is no fitness test or medical examination required. Medical checks are completed through a self-assessment medical questionnaire.
