The Kent unit is the first of its kind in the South of England.
You will bridge the gap between emergency medical care and law enforcement, providing support to the other dedicated professionals in the team. Patrolling together in a response vehicle, you will attend emergency and non-emergency calls in relation to medical, crime and disorder incidents. You will be fully trained and granted legal powers in order to perform this fully uniformed role.
There is a 16 hours per month (four hours per week) minimum contribution which can be conducted during early, late or night shifts (until 3am) when the JRU functions. Eligibility is subject to passing a full medical examination and fitness test.
