If you're a trained member of South East 4x4, you can also become a community policing volunteer to help communities in times of need.
South East 4X4 volunteers are recruited directly from the established SE4X4 Response volunteer organisation. SE4X4 Response are a group of 4X4 vehicle owner specialists who help the emergency services, county and borough councils and communities by using their own vehicles, equipment and specialist skills during times of need.
This is a semi-uniformed role and you will be given legal powers allowing you to direct traffic and deal with incidents on the Kent road network, therefore helping to relieve blue-light patrols already in attendance.

There is no minimum hourly contribution for this role. No fitness test or medical examination is required for this role.
