October is Black History Month, a time for celebrating achievement and supporting opportunities and accessibility for all communities.
Kent Police is a diverse organisation and we want to be representative of the communities that we serve. We are proud of the progress we continue to make and are determined to do more. We are confident that by continuing to work together, we can be even more representative of the diverse communities in Kent. We continue to encourage more applicants from a Black, Asian and minority ethnic background into the force with our Positive Action programme.
We celebrate Black History Month 2021 by asking some of our staff to share their inspirational stories behind their careers. We would like to sincerely thank those who have shared their stories to feature in our Black History Month celebrations, your contribution to the campaign and the force is appreciated and inspiring.
