I'd like to request disclosure for family court proceedings about myself
If you feel police disclosure is needed for family court proceedings, you will need to apply for and obtain a sealed order from the family court. The family court will use the 'Private Law Police Disclosure Order' (Annex 5) when considering your application.
Once you have obtained a sealed family court order, please email it to our Public Disclosure team, Civil Court Order Section.
Once the Public Disclosure team has received the sealed family court order, we will ask you to pay our 'reasonable charges' for disclosure of police information and material.
See further details on the Disclosure of information between family and criminal agencies and jurisdictions: 2024 protocol.
