You can only make an official complaint about the conduct of a Kent Police officer (or special constable), a staff member or one of our contractors if:
- You were directly affected.
- You witnessed it (but not if you simply saw it on TV or read about it online).
- It didn't happen to you but you were adversely affected - for example you either suffered loss, damage, distress, inconvenience, were put in danger / at risk or know the person it happend to.
- The person it happened to has given you written consent to act on their behalf.
You can also make a complaint about our decisions on how the force is run.
