Road safety issues.

Officers have been carrying out high-visibility patrols in response to concerns raised by local residents. These patrols provide a visible police presence, help officers identify issues affecting the community and offer opportunities to engage with residents.
The policing team is also working with Community Speedwatch coordinators to explore the introduction of a Community Speedwatch scheme in the area. Community Speedwatch is a volunteer-led initiative that allows trained local residents to monitor vehicle speeds and share information with police to help address speeding concerns.
We will continue to work with residents and road safety partners to identify local issues and support efforts to improve safety across the community.

Antisocial behaviour - general.
Issued 20 July 2026
Officers have carried out both foot and vehicle patrols in response to reports of antisocial behaviour in the area. While no antisocial behaviour was witnessed during these patrols, officers continue to monitor concerns and maintain a visible presence in locations where issues have been reported.
The local policing team is also working with residents to identify those responsible for incidents of antisocial behaviour. This information helps officers engage with those involved and take appropriate action to prevent further problems. Where necessary, targeted interventions and enforcement measures may be used to address ongoing issues and help improve the quality of life for local residents.
We will continue to work with the community to address concerns and take action where appropriate.

Drug dealing.
Issued 20 July 2026
Officers have carried out both vehicle and foot patrols in areas where concerns about drug-related activity have been raised by residents.
As part of this activity, officers have conducted a number of stop and searches involving people and vehicles suspected of being linked to drug offences. A stop and search is a power that allows police to search a person or vehicle where there are lawful grounds to suspect illegal drugs, weapons or other prohibited items may be present.
The policing team continues to investigate information provided by the community and use it to identify those involved in drug-related crime. This intelligence helps officers target patrols, carry out enforcement activity and take action where offences are identified.
Tackling drug-related offending remains a priority, and further proactive activity is planned to address concerns and help keep local communities safe.
