A suspect has been charged with multiple offences after police were called to Whitstable on Sunday 9 February.
Police were called to a report of a fight at McDonald's in St George's Street at 6.20pm on Saturday 8 February.
Officers are investigating the theft reported to have taken place between 5pm on Thursday 16 January and 9am the following morning.
Five people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
