Neighbourhood Policing Team
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of local officers and police community support officers, led by a sergeant and inspector. They’re based in your area and supported by the wider Kent Police team.
We work with councils, community groups and local leaders to tackle the issues that matter most, finding long-term solutions and reducing crime.
We publish the meetings and events we plan to attend, but attendance depends on operational priorities.

Officers continue to respond to reports of vehicles obstructing driveways and footpaths. When concerns are raised, officers engage with drivers to explain the impact of their parking and provide advice on parking safely and considerately. This ongoing work helps improve access for residents, pedestrians and people with mobility needs, while supporting road safety within the community.

Officers have carried out targeted patrols in areas where antisocial behaviour and drug-related activity have been linked. Using information provided by local residents and the wider community, officers have focused their activity on locations and times where concerns are greatest. This has included proactive patrols and stop and searches where officers have lawful grounds to suspect someone may be involved in criminal activity. These measures help officers deter offending, identify those responsible and respond effectively to community concerns.

Officers have carried out targeted patrols in areas where concerns about drug use and drug-related activity have been raised. Using information provided by local residents and the wider community, officers have focused their activity on locations and times where concerns are greatest. This has included proactively engaging with and stopping individuals linked to reported concerns where appropriate. These patrols help deter offending, identify those involved in criminal activity and provide reassurance to local residents. Officers will continue to use community information to guide patrols and target activity in the areas most affected.
