Fly tipping.
Issued 14 April 2026
We are carrying out targeted patrols in known fly-tipping hotspots, where rubbish is often dumped illegally. We are also working closely with Dover District Council to make sure waste is removed quickly, helping us spot locations where the problem keeps happening. The council is reviewing CCTV (security camera) footage with enforcement teams to help identify people and vehicles linked to fly-tipping, so evidence can be gathered and action taken.

Road safety issues.
Issued 14 April 2026
We have carried out proactive work to improve road safety, including working with local volunteer Speedwatch groups. These are community groups who help monitor vehicle speeds and raise awareness about safe driving. We plan to continue working alongside them in the future. We have also carried out targeted patrols to deal with nuisance motorcycles and antisocial behaviour. This work has resulted in three people being arrested and charged.

Antisocial behaviour - nuisance.
Issued 14 April 2026
We have carried out targeted patrols in response to concerns about antisocial behaviour in hotspot areas. Several people have been spoken to about repeated behaviour, and these conversations have taken place in the presence of their parents to help address the issue and prevent it from happening again.
