  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

    Nuisance motorcycles.

    Issued 14 April 2026

    Action taken:

We have carried out proactive patrols across local villages and the surrounding area using both marked and unmarked police vehicles. During these patrols, officers have stopped motorcycles and spoken to riders about staying safe on the roads, while also dealing with any offences that were identified. We have worked with Kent Police’s Road Safety Unit to guide this activity, and further local operations are planned to focus on motorcycles as well as other road users in the near future.

    Actioned 10 June 2026

  • Priority:

    Road safety issues.

    Issued 14 April 2026

    Action taken:

We have carried out high-visibility patrols in local villages, where officers are clearly seen by the public, to help keep roads safe. During these patrols, we have used systems such as the Police National Computer and the DVLA to check that vehicles and drivers meet legal requirements. Vehicles have been stopped where needed, and drivers dealt with appropriately. In May 2026, a man in Aylesham was arrested on suspicion of drug driving after being stopped by Dover Community Safety Unit officers during a routine check.

    Actioned 10 June 2026

  • Priority:

    Antisocial behaviour - nuisance.

    Issued 14 April 2026

    Action taken:

We have carried out high-visibility foot and mobile patrols in villages where concerns about antisocial behaviour have been reported, both directly to Kent Police and at local police drop-in sessions. These patrols have helped officers speak with people suspected of being involved, offering advice and discouraging further issues, while also providing a visible police presence to help prevent problems from happening. CCTV (security cameras) has also supported this work, including new cameras recently installed by Dover District Council.

    Actioned 10 June 2026
