Dog fouling.
Issued 14 April 2026
Dover District Council is the main organisation responsible for enforcing dog fouling. During our patrols, if officers see someone not cleaning up after their dog, they will speak to them and take their details. However, any formal action, such as issuing fines, is the responsibility of Dover District Council.

Issued 14 April 2026
We have carried out proactive work to improve road safety, including working with local volunteer Speedwatch groups who help monitor vehicle speeds and encourage safer driving. We plan to continue working alongside them in the future. We have also carried out targeted patrols to tackle nuisance motorcycles and antisocial behaviour, which has resulted in 3 people being arrested and charged.

Nuisance motorcyclists.
Issued 14 April 2026
Three people have been arrested in connection with stolen motorcycles, and enquiries are ongoing. Several bikes have been recovered or identified as stolen through proactive patrols and information from the community. Increased high-visibility patrols have also helped to reduce nuisance riding in areas where problems had been reported.
