Road safety.

Officers continue to monitor road safety concerns and carry out patrols on key routes across the ward. Although reports from residents have remained relatively low, officers maintain a visible presence to deter unsafe driving and identify offences where they occur. Concerns raised by the community are reviewed and acted upon where appropriate, with both enforcement and education used to encourage safer driving behaviour. Through ongoing patrols and road safety operations, officers continue to work to keep roads safe for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians.

Nuisance motorcycles.

Officers continue to patrol areas around the Royal Military Canal where nuisance motorcycles have been reported. Targeted enforcement activity is focused on riders using bridleways and other routes where motorcycles are not permitted. These patrols help identify offenders, deter antisocial behaviour and provide reassurance to local residents. Officers will continue to monitor hotspot locations and take appropriate action where offences are identified.

Alcohol.

Officers continue to monitor and respond to reports of alcohol-related antisocial behaviour in the area. Although reports have remained low during this reporting period, officers maintain regular contact with residents, businesses and partner organisations and continue to patrol locations where concerns may arise. Where issues are identified, appropriate action is taken to prevent problems from escalating and to help keep the community safe. Through ongoing patrols, engagement and partnership working, officers continue to address alcohol-related antisocial behaviour and provide reassurance to local residents.
