  • Our priorities
  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

    Nuisance vehicles (e-scooters and motorbikes).

    Issued 21 April 2026

    Action taken:

Following reports of nuisance e-scooter and e-bike use, officers carried out targeted patrols that resulted in a number of illegally used vehicles being seized, helping to reduce associated antisocial behaviour.

On 6 June 2026, a joint operation involving Roads Policing and Immigration Enforcement took place in Gravesend town centre and surrounding areas, including Perry Street, leading to further vehicle stops and seizures.

Officers will continue to carry out proactive patrols and targeted enforcement activity to tackle nuisance vehicles, deter offending and improve public safety. Residents are encouraged to report concerns, as information from the community helps officers identify hotspot locations and take appropriate action.

    Actioned 03 July 2026

  • Priority:

    Drug dealing.

    Issued 21 April 2026

    Action taken:

In response to concerns about suspected drug dealing and related activity, officers have continued to carry out regular high-visibility patrols and targeted enforcement in the area. Officers have also engaged with residents and used stop and search powers where lawful grounds exist. Stop and search is a legal power that allows officers to search people for items linked to criminal activity, including illegal drugs.

This activity helps disrupt drug-related offending, deter those involved and provide reassurance to the local community. Officers will continue to carry out intelligence-led patrols, act on information received from the public and take enforcement action where offences are identified to help keep the area safe.

    Actioned 03 July 2026

  • Priority:

    Antisocial behaviour.

    Issued 21 April 2026

    Action taken:

Regular patrols are being carried out to identify those responsible for antisocial behaviour (ASB) and take appropriate action where necessary. A range of measures have already been used in the area, including Community Protection Warnings (CPWs), Acceptable Behaviour Agreements (ABAs) and Community Protection Notices (CPNs). These are designed to address behaviour at an early stage and prevent further incidents.

These measures set clear expectations for behaviour, and where the conditions are not followed, further enforcement action may be taken. Officers will continue to patrol identified areas, work with partner agencies and respond to concerns raised by the community to help reduce antisocial behaviour and improve the quality of life for local residents.

    Actioned 03 July 2026
