Nuisance motorcycles.
Issued 14 April 2026
Regular patrols are carried out in areas affected by nuisance motorbike activity, with the aim of identifying offenders, deterring antisocial behaviour and improving community safety. When riders are identified, officers use road traffic legislation to seize vehicles where appropriate. Antisocial behaviour powers are also used to tackle repeat offending and help prevent further incidents. Officers will continue to patrol hotspot locations and take action against those who use motorcycles in a manner that causes nuisance, alarm or distress to the local community.
