There have been 3 reports of vehicle crime within the ward over the past 3 months. Although no suspects have been identified at this stage, the local neighbourhood officer is aware of the issue and continues to work with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to identify any patterns, gather intelligence and pursue opportunities to identify those responsible.
Vehicle crime remains a priority, and officers will continue to monitor reports and follow up any relevant lines of enquiry. Residents are encouraged to join My Community Voice (MCV) to receive updates and stay in direct contact with their local neighbourhood officer.

Antisocial behaviour - nuisance.
Issued 14 April 2026
Local officers are aware of reports of antisocial behaviour (ASB) around the recreation ground on London Road, the train station underpass and Corn Mill Place. These locations are regularly patrolled and will continue to form part of neighbourhood patrol routes.
Where concerns are identified, officers aim to engage with young people and their parents or guardians at an early stage to deter further incidents. However, repeat offenders will be dealt with robustly where necessary. Officers are also working closely with the parish council and local schools to identify those involved and review available CCTV footage.
This remains a priority as we move into the summer months. Residents are encouraged to join My Community Voice (MCV) to receive updates and stay in direct contact with their local neighbourhood officer.

Nuisance vehicles.
Issued 14 April 2026
There have been reports of nuisance vehicle use in Riverhead, and local officers are aware of the concerns. High-visibility patrols are regularly carried out in affected areas to deter offending and provide reassurance to residents. We encourage anyone experiencing issues or witnessing nuisance vehicle use to report it through Kent Police's online reporting system, as information from the community helps officers target patrols and enforcement activity where it is needed most. Residents can also join My Community Voice (MCV) to receive updates and stay in contact with their local neighbourhood officer.
