Vehicle crime.

Kent Police has been actively working to reduce vehicle crime in Kemsing through increased patrols in areas identified as vulnerable, including residential roads and rural locations. Kent Police has been actively working to reduce the risk of farming equipment theft in Kemsing through targeted rural patrols and close engagement with the local farming community. Officers are promoting security measures such as immobilisers, secure storage, CCTV and forensic marking to help deter offenders and protect valuable equipment.

Information sharing and joint working with neighbouring police forces and partner agencies are helping to disrupt organised rural crime groups and identify offenders. Farmers and landowners are encouraged to report suspicious activity as soon as possible, as prompt reporting helps build intelligence and supports a timely police response.
