    Kent Police has been actively working to reduce vehicle crime in Kemsing through increased patrols in areas identified as vulnerable, including residential roads and rural locations. Officers have provided crime prevention advice to residents, encouraging measures such as using steering wheel locks, parking securely and removing valuables from vehicles. Reports of suspicious activity have been followed up, and information gathered has supported ongoing enquiries and investigations.

    Engagement with the community continues to play an important role in identifying patterns of offending, developing intelligence and preventing further crimes. Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious activity and to join My Community Voice (MCV) to receive updates and stay in direct contact with their local neighbourhood officer.

    Road safety remains a priority in Kemsing. Officers continue to carry out speed checks, traffic operations and patrols on roads highlighted by residents for speeding and dangerous driving. Enforcement activity has focused on offences such as speeding, mobile phone use while driving and failing to wear a seatbelt.

    Alongside enforcement, officers are engaging with the community to promote safer driving and raise awareness of road safety issues. Work with local partners is also helping to identify and address longer-term road safety concerns. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting issues so that patrols and enforcement activity can be targeted where they are needed most.     Kent Police has been actively working to reduce the risk of farming equipment theft in Kemsing through targeted rural patrols and close engagement with the local farming community. Officers are promoting security measures such as immobilisers, secure storage, CCTV and forensic marking to help deter offenders and protect valuable equipment.

    Information sharing and joint working with neighbouring police forces and partner agencies are helping to disrupt organised rural crime groups and identify offenders. Farmers and landowners are encouraged to report suspicious activity as soon as possible, as prompt reporting helps build intelligence and supports a timely police response.

    Protecting rural communities remains a priority, and officers will continue to work with residents, businesses and partner agencies to prevent rural crime and keep the area safe.
