about

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of local officers and police community support officers, led by a sergeant and inspector. They’re based in your area and supported by the wider Kent Police team.

We work with councils, community groups and local leaders to tackle the issues that matter most, finding long-term solutions and reducing crime.

We publish the meetings and events we plan to attend, but attendance depends on operational priorities.

My Community Voice is a free messaging service that keeps you updated on local news, events and safety information from your policing team. Find out more and register for My Community Voice.

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

    Nuisance vehicles.

    Issued 20 July 2026

    Action taken:

Officers continue to tackle nuisance motorcycles and associated antisocial behaviour in Westerham High Street and the surrounding area through targeted patrols and enforcement activity. Information provided by residents has helped officers identify individuals linked to nuisance riding and other offences, allowing enforcement action to be taken where appropriate. Officers work closely with specialist policing teams and partner organisations to gather intelligence, support investigations and disrupt offending behaviour.

Regular high-visibility patrols are carried out to deter antisocial behaviour, improve road safety and provide reassurance to residents, businesses and visitors. Officers will continue to use appropriate road traffic and antisocial behaviour legislation to identify offenders and take positive action where offences are committed.

Residents are encouraged to continue reporting nuisance vehicles and suspicious behaviour, as information from the community plays a vital role in helping officers identify those responsible, build intelligence and target enforcement activity where it is needed most. Through ongoing enforcement, partnership working and community engagement, officers remain committed to reducing nuisance vehicle-related offending and improving safety across the area.

  • Priority:

    Road safety.

    Issued 20 July 2026

    Action taken:

Officers continue to address road safety concerns in Westerham and Crockham Hill through targeted patrols and enforcement activity. Speed checks are carried out at locations where concerns have been raised, helping to identify drivers committing road traffic offences and improve safety for all road users. Officers also use speed detection equipment as part of ongoing efforts to deter speeding and encourage safer driving.

Further speed enforcement activity is planned over the coming weeks and months, with patrols and checks taking place at locations identified through community concerns and local intelligence. Residents are encouraged to report dangerous, antisocial or inconsiderate driving, as information from the community helps officers identify problem locations, understand emerging trends and direct enforcement activity where it is needed most. Through ongoing patrols, enforcement and community engagement, officers remain committed to improving road safety and reducing offending on local roads.
