Drug taking.
Issued 13 April 2026
In response to concerns about drug use and related activity, officers have worked closely with the local council to identify locations linked to drug misuse and provide support and signposting to those who may need assistance. Patrol activity has focused on disrupting drug-related offending, gathering intelligence and identifying locations of concern.
As part of this work, a warrant was executed at one address where controlled drugs were located and seized. Officers will continue to carry out intelligence-led patrols, work with partner agencies and take enforcement action where appropriate to tackle drug-related activity and help keep the community safe.

Dog fouling.
Issued 13 April 2026
We have worked closely with the local council to identify hotspot locations where dog fouling has been reported most frequently. Information from residents has helped to highlight areas of concern and support efforts to address the issue.
Community messages have been shared to raise awareness and provide guidance on how to report incidents of dog fouling. Reporting helps build a clearer picture of problem locations and enables the council to take appropriate action where necessary. We will continue to work with partner agencies to promote responsible dog ownership and help keep public spaces clean and safe for everyone.

Alcohol.
Issued 13 April 2026
Officers have worked closely with Kent Police’s licensing teams and Swale Borough Council to address alcohol-related issues within the area. Joint visits have been carried out to off-licences to provide advice, raise awareness of licensing responsibilities and ensure alcohol is being sold responsibly.
Where concerns have been identified, appropriate enforcement action has been taken. This partnership approach helps prevent alcohol-related antisocial behaviour, supports local businesses and promotes safer communities. Officers will continue to work with licensing partners, carry out proactive patrols and respond to concerns raised by residents.
