  • Our priorities
  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

    Antisocial behaviour - general.

    Issued 16 April 2026

    Action taken:

Officers are focusing on tackling antisocial behaviour (ASB) across their areas.

They are carrying out patrols in locations such as the town centre, seafront and nearby areas where concerns have been raised. During patrols, officers speak with young people to explain the impact of their behaviour and help prevent issues.

Where needed, dispersal powers are used (which allow officers to direct people to leave an area for a set time). Officers also work with local schools to provide education about the impact of antisocial behaviour.

Residents can share concerns through local meetings or My Community Voice (an online two-way messaging service used to report issues and receive updates).

    Actioned 30 June 2026

Where needed, dispersal powers are used (which allow officers to direct people to leave an area for a set time). Officers also work with local schools to provide education about the effects of antisocial behaviour.

Residents can share concerns through local meetings or My Community Voice (an online two-way messaging service used to report issues and receive updates).

  • Priority:

    Highway obstructions.

    Issued 16 April 2026

    Action taken:

Officers are carrying out regular patrols in busy areas to identify and address road obstructions.

They have spoken with residents and local businesses to understand concerns, and advised vehicle owners whose parking is causing problems. This has led to improved parking behaviour.

Further action will be taken if issues continue, and residents are encouraged to keep sharing concerns through local meetings or My Community Voice (an online two-way messaging service used to report issues and receive updates).

    Actioned 30 June 2026
