PC Absolon continues to work to improve road safety by tackling the antisocial use of bikes, mopeds, e-bikes and e-scooters. He has carried out enquiries to identify those responsible and, where appropriate, has worked with parents and guardians to help prevent further incidents involving young people. Enforcement activity has resulted in several e-bikes and e-scooters being seized after being used illegally. Through regular patrols and engagement with local residents, PC Absolon continues to address concerns, take action where offences are identified and help keep local roads and public spaces safe for everyone.

PC Absolon has been taking action to tackle the illegal use of e-bikes and e-scooters in the area, with several vehicles seized as part of ongoing enforcement activity. In one incident, a rider was stopped after travelling at speed and part of the vehicle became detached, highlighting the safety risks these vehicles can pose when used illegally or without proper maintenance. Through proactive patrols, enforcement activity and community engagement, PC Absolon continues to address concerns and promote the safe use of roads and public spaces.

PC Absolon recognises the importance of tackling drink and drug driving to help keep local roads safe. Through proactive enforcement and engagement with road users, he works to deter offences and reduce the risk of serious collisions. This activity helps protect all road users, including pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists, who are often most vulnerable in a collision. Road safety remains a key priority, and PC Absolon will continue to support efforts to improve driver behaviour and take action against those who put others at risk.
