Officers continue to work with partner agencies to tackle fly-tipping. Reports of fly-tipping are reviewed and referred to the appropriate organisations, including the local council and highways authority, to arrange clearance and support any further investigation where necessary. This partnership approach helps protect the local environment and address concerns raised by residents.

Road safety issues.

Officers continue to carry out regular patrols in West Malling and Offham using marked police vehicles to identify and deal with road traffic offences. This includes vehicles being driven without valid insurance, tax or an MOT. The planned introduction of a 20mph speed limit in Offham is expected to help improve road safety and address concerns raised by residents.

Catapults.

Officers have carried out visits to addresses linked to reports of catapult misuse and have engaged with young people and their families to address concerns. These discussions have focused on raising awareness of the risks associated with catapults and the impact their misuse can have on local residents, property and wildlife. Through education, engagement and ongoing support, officers aim to prevent further incidents and promote positive behaviour within the community.
