  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

    Road safety.

    Issued 22 July 2026

    Action taken:

The local officer continues to carry out speed enforcement activity across the rural area, focusing on locations where speeding has been identified as a concern. Using knowledge of the local road network and information provided by residents, checks are carried out at suitable locations to identify drivers who may be putting themselves and others at risk. Where offences are detected, drivers may face prosecution or be offered educational opportunities to help them better understand the dangers of speeding and its impact on road safety. This ongoing work aims to make local roads safer for all road users.

    Actioned 30 September 2026

  • Priority:

    Catapults.

    Issued 22 July 2026

    Action taken:

The local officer continues to address concerns about the misuse of catapults in the area through targeted patrols and ongoing engagement with the community. Working with colleagues and specialist teams, officers gather information, identify locations where incidents have been reported and take action to deter and disrupt this type of behaviour. Regular patrols are carried out in areas of concern, and information provided by residents plays an important role in helping officers identify those involved. The public are encouraged to continue reporting any incidents or information that may assist police in preventing and investigating offences of this nature.

  • Priority:

    Highway obstructions.

    Issued 22 July 2026

    Action taken:

Officers continue to work closely with local authorities and partner agencies to address reports of highway obstructions and reduce any impact on local communities. Concerns reported by residents help identify problem locations and support joint action where needed. Members of the public are encouraged to report highway obstructions to the appropriate authority so that they can be assessed and dealt with by the organisation best placed to take action.
