Road safety issues.
Action taken:
Officers have carried out regular proactive patrols at local schools during morning drop-off and afternoon collection times, working closely with traffic wardens and school staff to help reduce congestion and improve road safety around school entrances. These patrols help address concerns about parking, driver behaviour and the safety of children, families and others travelling to and from school.
In addition, officers have undertaken speed enforcement checks across the ward, providing road safety advice and taking appropriate action where traffic offences have been identified. This activity is aimed at improving driver behaviour, encouraging safer driving practices and making local roads safer for all road users. Officers will continue to carry out patrols and enforcement activity in response to concerns raised by the community.

Criminal damage.
Action taken:
Officers have been working closely with the local council to identify and secure locations that are vulnerable to antisocial behaviour and criminal damage. A range of preventative measures have been introduced to reduce opportunities for offending and improve community safety. This work is ongoing, with further improvements planned in partnership with local agencies to help protect affected sites, deter criminal behaviour and provide reassurance to residents.

Antisocial behaviour - nuisance.
Action taken:
A number of residents responsible for ongoing antisocial behaviour have been dealt with using community protection powers. Community Protection Warnings (CPWs) and Community Protection Notices (CPNs) have been issued where appropriate to address persistent nuisance behaviour and reduce its impact on the wider community.
A CPW is a formal warning issued when behaviour is having a negative effect on others, while a CPN is a legal notice that can be issued if the behaviour continues. Breaching a CPN may result in further enforcement action.
This activity forms part of ongoing work to tackle antisocial behaviour, support those affected and improve the quality of life for local residents. Officers will continue to monitor concerns, work with partner agencies and take appropriate action where necessary.
