E-scooters/E-bikes.

Following concerns raised by residents, local officers have been carrying out enquiries into the use of e-scooters and e-bikes linked to antisocial behaviour in the area. Officers have spoken with members of the community and identified CCTV footage that may help support ongoing investigations. Regular patrols are also taking place in locations where concerns have been reported. Officers will continue to take action against anyone using e-scooters or e-bikes unlawfully, including seizing vehicles where appropriate.

Road safety issues.

PC Roy has been speaking with residents to understand where speeding is causing the greatest concern and to identify locations that may benefit from additional enforcement. He has also been working with Community Speedwatch volunteers to review speeding data and build a clearer picture of local road safety issues. Speed enforcement activity has already taken place as part of ongoing efforts to improve road safety, and further enforcement days are planned. Officers will continue to monitor key locations using speed detection equipment to encourage safer driving and help keep roads safe for everyone.

Nuisance motorcycles.

Following reports from residents about a blue motorbike being ridden in a way that is causing nuisance and concern, PC Roy has been carrying out enquiries to identify those responsible. PC Roy has spoken with local residents and gathering information about where the motorbike is being seen and how it is being used. This information is helping to direct patrols to the areas of greatest concern and support efforts to locate the motorbike and take appropriate action where offences are identified.
