Criminal damage.
Action taken:
Reports of criminal damage are investigated to help identify those responsible and gather evidence for possible legal action. Criminal damage can take many forms, including graffiti. Officers have been working closely with the local council to address graffiti in the area and enquiries have led to the identification of a person believed to be responsible for a number of graffiti tags. In relation to an incident where the individual was identified, a Community Resolution was issued. A Community Resolution is a way of dealing with lower-level offences without going to court, allowing the person responsible to take steps to address their behaviour. Details have also been shared with the council, which is responsible for removing graffiti and will consider any further civil action it feels is appropriate.

E-scooters/E-bikes.
Action taken:
Officers are aware of concerns raised about the use of e-scooters and e-bikes along the promenade and have increased patrols in the area to address illegal riding and improve safety. Enforcement activity is carried out where offences are identified, and officers continue to engage with riders to explain the law and the risks associated with unsafe use. Earlier this year, an e-scooter was seized following ongoing reports about the manner in which it was being ridden. Officers will continue to patrol the area and take appropriate action where e-scooters or e-bikes are being used unlawfully or in a way that causes concern to the community.

Nuisance motorcycles.
Action taken:
Officers are aware of concerns about e-bikes being ridden in an antisocial manner in the area and have been carrying out enquiries to identify those responsible. This work has led to one rider being identified, and targeted activity has been put in place to locate the individual and take appropriate action. Although officers have not yet been able to locate the rider while using the e-bike, enforcement activity in the area has resulted in the seizure of an e-scooter. Officers will continue to respond to reports, carry out patrols and take action where e-bikes or e-scooters are being used illegally or in a way that causes concern to the community.
