Off-road motorcycles.

PC Shoker has increased visible patrols to tackle antisocial motorbike use, particularly involving off-road bikes being ridden in inappropriate places. When riders are stopped, officers take action where offences have been identified. This may include issuing tickets, reporting offences or seizing vehicles where powers allow. Dealing with this issue can be challenging, as some riders fail to stop when asked to do so by police. Despite this, officers will continue to take action whenever opportunities arise. Further days of action are planned, bringing together additional police resources to increase patrols, identify offenders and maximise opportunities to stop and seize bikes linked to criminal or antisocial behaviour. The aim is to hold those responsible to account and improve safety for local residents and businesses.

Road safety.

PC Shoker has increased patrols in the area to tackle poor driving and improve road safety. As part of this work, he has issued Traffic Offence Reports (TOR) and spoken directly with drivers about safe and legal driving. A TOR is a formal record created by police when someone is suspected of committing a road traffic offence. Depending on the circumstances, this can lead to a fixed penalty notice, a driver education course or a court appearance. Over the past 3 months, several vehicles have been seized because of safety concerns relating to the way they were being driven, as well as other road traffic offences. PC Shoker is also exploring opportunities to introduce future Speedwatch campaigns. Speedwatch is a community scheme that allows trained volunteers to work alongside the police to monitor vehicle speeds in their local area. The aim is to raise awareness of speeding, encourage safer driving and help make local communities safer for everyone.

Offences against public decency.

PC Shoker has carried out dedicated high-visibility patrols in the area to help prevent offences against public decency. These offences involve behaviour of a sexual or indecent nature carried out in public places that may cause alarm, distress or offence to others. Between 14 March 2026 and 10 June 2026, no offences of this type were reported in the area, compared to two reports during the previous period between 13 January 2026 and 14 March 2026. As part of ongoing prevention work, PC Shoker has been working with Dartford Borough Council's Parks Team to improve the management of the local area. This includes identifying ways to make areas less secluded and reduce opportunities for this type of offending to take place. Patrols and partnership work will continue to help keep the area safe and welcoming for residents and visitors.
