Officers have carried out targeted patrols in areas affected by vehicle crime and have worked with residents to share crime prevention advice, including how to keep vehicles secure and reduce the risk of theft. When vehicle thefts are reported, officers record the incident and carry out enquiries to identify those responsible and support victims.

Road safety (highway obstructions).

Officers have carried out targeted patrols in response to concerns about unsafe and inconsiderate parking. During these patrols, they have spoken with drivers whose vehicles were causing an obstruction or creating a risk for other road users and pedestrians, offering advice and encouraging safer parking. Officers continue to work with partners and take appropriate action where parking issues affect road safety or access to local roads and footways.

Offences against public decency.

Officers carry out regular patrols in areas where concerns have been raised about offences against public decency, helping to deter offending and provide reassurance to local people. They also work with communities to share personal safety advice and raise awareness of issues linked to violence against women and girls, helping people understand how to stay safe and report concerns.
