Wildlife crime issues.

We have carried out targeted activity to address concerns about wildlife crime across the area, including high-visibility patrols to help prevent offences and reassure the public, alongside patrols in unmarked vehicles to help identify and disrupt suspicious activity. Officers have also carried out regular foot patrols in key locations to speak with the public and gather helpful information. In addition, we have worked closely with our Rural Task Force, carrying out joint patrols and sharing information to strengthen our response and take action where offences are identified.

Antisocial behaviour - general.

We have carried out targeted patrols in response to concerns about antisocial behaviour in the area. This has included both marked and unmarked vehicle patrols, as well as increased foot patrols to provide a visible police presence, engage with the community and help prevent further incidents. During these patrols, officers have also spoken with people involved and, where appropriate, offered advice to help change behaviour and stop issues from getting worse. We will continue to monitor the situation and take action where needed.

Road safety issues.

We have carried out proactive work to improve road safety across the area. Officers have stopped a number of vehicles, speaking with drivers to make sure they are following the law. Where offences have been found, officers have taken action, including issuing tickets or reporting drivers, and in more serious cases, vehicles have been seized. We have also focused on nuisance motorcycles and quad bikes, carrying out patrols in areas where these have been causing concern, with the aim of reducing problems, improving safety for residents, and tackling ongoing issues caused by unsafe use.
