Officers continue to carry out high-visibility patrols in the evenings in response to concerns about the illegal use of e-scooters and e-bikes. Using information provided by the community, officers focus patrols on locations and individuals linked to ongoing issues, helping to identify offenders, take appropriate action and improve safety for local residents.

Noise disturbance.

Officers have carried out high-visibility patrols in and around the Tesco car park in response to reports of noise nuisance. Following concerns raised by residents, officers have spoken with the owner of a vehicle linked to reports of excessive horn use and provided advice. Officers will continue to monitor the area and respond to any further concerns raised by the community.

Road safety issues.

Officers have carried out speed checks and targeted patrols at locations where road safety concerns have been raised. This work has resulted in a number of drivers being dealt with for speeding offences, including one disqualified driver. Speed monitoring has also been carried out on other roads, with some checks finding good levels of compliance with the speed limit. Officers will continue to work with Community Speedwatch volunteers and carry out enforcement activity to improve road safety and address concerns raised by residents.
