During these patrols, riders have been stopped and given advice and warnings to help prevent antisocial behaviour.

Dog fouling.

Officers are working closely with the local council to address concerns about dog fouling and support enforcement activity where issues are reported. Dog fouling can have a negative impact on public spaces, the local environment and public health, and responsibility for enforcing related offences rests with the local council. By sharing information and working together, police and council teams can help identify problem areas and take appropriate action where necessary. This partnership approach helps to keep parks, streets and other public spaces clean, safe and welcoming for residents and visitors.

Nuisance motorcycles.

Officers responded to reports of a nuisance motorcycle that was allegedly being used in a manner that caused concern and had been linked to damage to vehicles. Following enquiries, officers prevented the rider from leaving the area and took appropriate action. The suspect was arrested and dealt with in connection with a number of offences. Tackling nuisance motorcycle use remains a priority, as this type of behaviour can create safety concerns, cause damage and have a significant impact on local residents. Officers will continue to take robust action against those who use vehicles illegally or antisocially within the community.
