Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of local officers and police community support officers, led by a sergeant and inspector. They’re based in your area and supported by the wider Kent Police team.
We work with councils, community groups and local leaders to tackle the issues that matter most, finding long-term solutions and reducing crime.
We publish the meetings and events we plan to attend, but attendance depends on operational priorities.
My Community Voice is a free messaging service that keeps you updated on local news, events and safety information from your policing team. Find out more and register for My Community Voice.

Nuisance vehicles.
Issued 20 July 2026
Officers continue to respond to reports of nuisance vehicles in Leechcroft Avenue and Beechenlea Lane through targeted patrols and enforcement activity. Information provided by residents helps officers identify those responsible, gather intelligence and focus patrols in locations where concerns are greatest. Where offences are identified, officers use appropriate road traffic and antisocial behaviour powers to take positive action and reduce the impact on the community.
Residents are encouraged to continue reporting incidents of nuisance vehicles, as information from the community plays a vital role in helping officers identify offenders, build evidence and support enforcement action. Through ongoing patrols, intelligence gathering and partnership working, officers remain committed to tackling nuisance vehicle use and improving the quality of life for local residents.

Nuisance antisocial behaviour.
Issued 20 July 2026
Officers continue to monitor and respond to reports of antisocial behaviour within the area. While reported incidents have remained low during this reporting period, officers continue to carry out patrols where appropriate, providing reassurance to residents and maintaining a visible presence within the community. Ongoing engagement with residents and partner organisations helps officers identify any emerging concerns at an early stage and take action where necessary.
As reports of antisocial behaviour have remained low, this priority will be reviewed to ensure it continues to reflect the issues that matter most to the local community. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting concerns and incidents to Kent Police, as information from the community helps officers identify emerging issues, direct resources effectively and take positive action where needed.

Road safety.
Issued 20 July 2026
Officers continue to address road safety concerns in Swanley through targeted patrols and enforcement activity. Several speed enforcement operations have recently been carried out in response to concerns raised by residents, resulting in a number of vehicles being stopped for road traffic offences. Officers will continue to carry out patrols and enforcement activity at locations identified through community concerns and local intelligence to improve road safety and reduce offending on local roads.
Further speed enforcement activity is planned over the coming weeks and months, helping to identify dangerous driving and encourage compliance with speed limits. Residents are encouraged to report dangerous, antisocial or inconsiderate driving, as information from the community helps officers identify problem locations, understand emerging trends and direct patrols and enforcement activity where they are most needed. Through ongoing enforcement, community engagement and proactive patrols, officers remain committed to improving road safety and keeping local roads safe for all users.
