Nuisance vehicles.
Action taken:
Nuisance vehicles remain an issue across Swanley, and local officers continue to carry out high-visibility patrols in affected areas. Where drivers or riders are identified, officers may issue Section 59 warnings and take further enforcement action when appropriate. A Section 59 warning is a legal warning issued when a vehicle is used in an antisocial manner, and further offending can result in the vehicle being seized.
Speed checks are also planned in locations most affected by nuisance vehicle use to help deter dangerous and antisocial driving.
Residents are encouraged to report any nuisance vehicle activity to Kent Police, either online or through their local neighbourhood officer, as information from the community helps officers target patrols and enforcement activity effectively. Police continue to patrol this ward regularly and make use of stop and search powers where there are lawful grounds to do so. During recent patrols, drugs have been found on several individuals and appropriate action has been taken in each case. Tackling drug-related activity remains a priority for the local neighbourhood team, and officers will continue to act on information provided by the public and take enforcement action where necessary.

There have been no reports of fly-tipping in the area during the past three months. Officers will continue to monitor the situation and work with partner agencies where appropriate.
