Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of local officers and police community support officers, led by a sergeant and inspector. They’re based in your area and supported by the wider Kent Police team.
We work with councils, community groups and local leaders to tackle the issues that matter most, finding long-term solutions and reducing crime.

Road safety.

Officers have conducted targeted patrols and enforcement activity in response to reports of nuisance vehicles affecting the local area. Working proactively to identify vehicles linked to community concerns, patrols and intelligence gathering continue across the ward. Positive action has also been taken against a vehicle found abandoned after being driven across rural land and public pathways. The vehicle was removed, helping to protect the local environment and address concerns regarding illegal vehicle use in the countryside.

Officers have carried out proactive vehicle stops and enforcement activity to address offences that place other road users at risk. This work has resulted in positive action being taken against drivers found to be breaching road traffic legislation, helping to improve compliance, deter offending, and make the roads safer for residents and visitors alike.

Officers continue to address nuisance motorcycles through targeted patrols and enforcement activity in areas where concerns have been raised. Local intelligence is used to identify problem locations and those responsible, helping officers focus their activity where it is most needed. Officers also work with residents to gather information and take action against offenders, helping to reduce antisocial behaviour and improve community safety.
