  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

    Fly tipping.

    Issued 13 April 2026

    Action taken:

Officers continue to work closely with Swale Borough Council and partner agencies to tackle fly-tipping and environmental crime. As part of this work, PC Boosey has supported the use of drone flights over suspected illegal waste sites to help gather evidence and support investigations.

Proactive patrols are also carried out at known fly-tipping hotspots, where suspicious vehicles may be stopped and checked where appropriate. This activity helps identify offenders, disrupt illegal waste disposal and protect the local environment.

We will continue to work with partner agencies, carry out targeted patrols and take action where offences are identified to reduce fly-tipping and its impact on local communities.

    Actioned 06 July 2026

  • Priority:

    Road safety issues.

    Issued 13 April 2026

    Action taken:

Concerns about road safety have been addressed through regular patrols and engagement in identified problem areas, including Playstool Close, Playstool Road and Orchard Drive. Officers have worked closely with local schools, residents and partner agencies to address parking concerns during peak times and promote safer driving and parking practices.

Enforcement activity continues where appropriate and is supported by the review of available data and ongoing monitoring of local concerns. Officers will continue to patrol the area, respond to issues raised by the community and take action where necessary to help keep roads safe for all users.

    Actioned 06 July 2026

  • Priority:

    E-bikes/e-scooters.`

    Issued 13 April 2026

    Action taken:

We have increased patrols in key hotspot areas and strengthened partnership working with specialist teams, including the Rural Task Force, to tackle nuisance e‑scooter and e‑bike use. Officers have also increased engagement with residents and local businesses to gather information about where these vehicles are being used, stored or linked to antisocial behaviour.

Information provided by the community is helping officers identify offenders and support targeted enforcement activity. This intelligence-led approach enables resources to be focused on the areas most affected and helps ensure appropriate action is taken where offences are identified.

Further operations are being planned, and officers will continue to work with partner agencies and the community to reduce nuisance vehicle use, improve public safety and address concerns raised by residents.

    Actioned 06 July 2026
