Kent Police has appointed Peter Ayling as the force’s new Deputy Chief Constable.
A 38-year old man was arrested on Wednesday 9 November in connection with the incident.
Officers from the Search and Marine Unit used radar to find and recover the boat.
Detectives want to identify images of a man who may be able to assist in their enquiries.
