Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of local officers and police community support officers, led by a sergeant and inspector. They’re based in your area and supported by the wider Kent Police team.
We work with councils, community groups and local leaders to tackle the issues that matter most, finding long-term solutions and reducing crime.
We publish the meetings and events we plan to attend, but attendance depends on operational priorities.
My Community Voice is a free messaging service that keeps you updated on local news, events and safety information from your policing team. Find out more and register for My Community Voice.

Antisocial behaviour - nuisance.
Issued 15 July 2026
PC Parsons and PC Lawford continue to take action against antisocial behaviour across the area. Supported by the Neighbourhood Task Force, they carry out targeted patrols in hotspot locations and use dispersal powers to address behaviour that is causing harassment, alarm or distress within the community. Officers also use Community Protection Warnings and Community Protection Notices to tackle persistent antisocial behaviour.
A Community Protection Warning is a formal warning, while a Community Protection Notice is a legal notice that can lead to further enforcement action if the behaviour continues. Positive action has been taken against those who breach these notices, including Fixed Penalty Notices and court proceedings for repeat offenders. The Public Spaces Protection Order has also enabled officers to seize alcohol and issue penalties where restrictions are breached.
In response to increased reports of antisocial e-scooter and e-bike use, a number of vehicles have been seized and enforcement activity will continue. Residents are encouraged to report concerns through local community meetings or My Community Voice, helping officers target patrols and take action where it is needed most.
