    PC Vaz continues to make tackling shoplifting a priority, working closely with local businesses to identify offenders and take action where offences have been committed. By reviewing evidence and sharing information with retailers, he is able to identify suspects, carry out enquiries and support prosecutions where appropriate. Alongside enforcement activity, PC Vaz works with partner organisations to address the underlying causes of offending and support people to make positive changes, helping to reduce repeat offences. Residents and businesses are encouraged to sign up to My Community Voice to receive updates, report concerns and help shape local policing priorities. Information from the community plays an important role in helping officers target their efforts and keep the area safe.

    PC Vaz is aware of concerns about highway obstructions and works closely with the local authority and other partner agencies to identify and address problem locations. PC Vaz will continue to work with local residents and partner organisations to find long-term solutions to these issues.
